About Us:
Zagaria Vocal Academy (ZVA) is a family business based in Boca Raton Florida.
ZVA focuses on providing a strong foundational education in the understanding
of the voice, music, production, and the overall music business.
ZVA is the first and original online vocal and music academy.
ZVA also has a full recording and video studio.
Lessons are available in person at our studio or online.
ZVA Studios are owned and operated by Jeffrey Zagaria. The Zagaria family has a long tradition of musical performance and education services dating back to the late 1940‘s.

Jeffrey Zagaria’s performance highlights include singing with Celine Dion, Reba McEntire, The Boston Pops Orchestra, and Gospel’s Richard Smallwood. Zagaria has coached and taught many of the best local talents, helping several to win record contracts and compete at the highest levels of popular TV shows, The VOICE and American Idol. Jeffrey is also a favorite vocal coach of several award winning and Grammy nominated record producers. Zagaria published his first book, “Know Your Voice” in 2011. He also published an eight video series titled under the same name.
Zagaria Music – History:
The Zagaria family has a long tradition of musical performance and education services dating back to the late 1940‘s. Pasquale Zagaria, Jeffrey Zagaria’s dad, began playing piano on the radio in Boston, MA at the age of nine on a weekly radio show, winning Boston talent contests and giving piano lessons in his teens. He then formed a very popular band in South Korea after being drafted. After his service to the U.S. Army, Zagaria went to Berkley School of Music, formed a popular orchestra, The Pat Zagaria Orchestra, and taught piano and organ privately for over 55 years. Although long retired, you can still see Pat Zagaria playing piano as he has volunteered his professional piano playing at Boca Hospital (name) once a week during the winter months, and at The Leahey Clinic in Boston in the other months.
Jeffrey Zagaria began playing piano at age three with his dad, Pat. Jeffrey’s first performance was at age 4 and he continued to perform for local Boston audiences in his early years. After a busy career of writing and performing, Jeffrey began teaching voice and music in Boston when he was 19. He became a full time music teacher forming “Zagaria Music” eight years later and continues to teach full time, over 20 years as of this writing. Jeffrey also taught in several Massachusetts public and Catholic schools from Pre-K through high school, giving him extensive experience as a pedagogue. He continued to perform during this time with several famous groups.
Jeffrey Zagaria moved his prosperous business, “Zagaria Music” from Boston to South Florida in 2000. Jeffrey taught privately and produced music demos for countless clients during this season of his professional career. Some continue working with Jeffrey today in 2018. Zagaria’s ability behind the dials in the recording studio are well rounded with his broad music background and B.S. in Electrical Engineering from UMASS Lowell.
In 2011, Jeffrey originated Zagaria Vocal Academy LLC, the first online vocal and music business. Jeffrey worked remotely while managing his online academy, and published his first book and video series, “Know Your Voice”.
In 2015, ZVA became a state of the art music and recording studio with both a physical and online academy and recording studio, currently located in Boca Raton, FL.
